[EXPOSED] Obama’s SECRET Phone Calls With Russia
When President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin last month to congratulate him on his recent election victory, Trump’s enemies lost their minds.
They claimed Trump supported a rigged election.
And they tried to use the call as proof that Trump and Putin were somehow co-conspirators in Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.
But here’s what the media conveniently FORGOT to mention…
Back in 2012, then-President Barack Obama called Putin to CONGRATULATE HIM after his election victory.
And Putin’s 2012 win was just as rigged as his 2018 win – and Obama knew it.
Liberals are so embarrassed that Obama, too, called Putin that they’ve been trying to deny it happened.
But here’s the proof…
As first reported by The Daily Caller, a 2012 White House press release confirmed:
“President Obama called Russian President-elect and Prime Minister Putin to congratulate him on his recent victory. President Obama and President-Elect Putin agreed to continue their efforts to find common ground and remove obstacles to better relations.”
The key phrase there is ‘better relations.’
After Trump called Putin, he was blasted in the media… though he used the same rationale that Obama did back in 2012.
In a series of tweets, President Trump defended his actions, specifically citing the fact that his congratulatory call was to help ‘better relations.’
“I called President Putin of Russia to congratulate him on his election victory (in past, Obama called him also),” Trump said. “The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him. They are wrong! Getting along with Russia (and others) is a good thing, not a bad thing…….”
He added: “They can help solve problems with North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, ISIS, Iran and even the coming Arms Race. Bush tried to get along, but didn’t have the “smarts.” Obama and Clinton tried, but didn’t have the energy or chemistry (remember RESET). PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!”
So why didn’t the media take a blowtorch to Obama’s secret calls?
Reporters certainly knew about them.
Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential candidate back in 2012, laid into Obama, saying he should have criticized Russia for holding a phony election.
If anyone should be publically criticized for phone calls with Putin, it should be Obama… as these calls aren’t the first time Obama has been engaged in shady business involving Russia.
Remember, Obama was aware that Russia was trying to meddle in the 2016 election and did nothing (maybe he thought Russia was trying to help Hillary Clinton?).
He also held a secret meeting with then FBI Director James Comey in the Oval Office… just two weeks before President Trump’s inauguration.
Obama attempted to lay out a plan that would allow him to control the investigation into Russian interference after he left office.
Maybe it’s time for the media to FINALLY investigate Obama’s ties with Russia – instead of obsessing over Trump’s.
