It’s not secret Joe Biden is one of President Trump’s BIGGEST critics.
In fact, his entire campaign so far has been, well, bad-mouthing the president.
But what Biden doesn’t want the American people to know, is just how much he agrees with Trump’s ideas and policies.
For instance, in his last bid for presidency, Biden shared similar sentiments.
And there’s a clip from a September 2007 presidential debate to prove it.
As reported by Fox News, the clip from 2007 shows then-candidate Joe Biden asked about whether he would allow cities to ignore federal law, and in his response, Biden replied that so-called sanctuary cities ignore federal immigration law because of a lack of funding.
“Part of the problem is you have to have a federal government that can enforce laws,” noted Biden while calling out the Bush administration.
And when Biden was directly asked “yes or no, would you allow those cities to ignore federal law?”
His response was “no.”
Another video from 2006 surfaced which showed Biden in favor of a southern border wall and mandating the punishment of employers who hire illegal immigrants…
“Folks, I voted for a fence; I voted, and unlike most Democrats – and some of you won’t like it – I voted for 700 miles of fence… But, let me tell you, we can build a fence 40 stories high – unless you change the dynamic in Mexico and – and you will not like this, and - punish American employees who knowingly violate the law when, in fact, they hire illegals. Unless you do those two things, all the rest is window dressing,” stated Biden in the unearthed video.
However, according to Fox & Friends, the current political climate has Biden altering his rhetoric to fit the mold of their ultra-progressive field of candidates.
