AOC Chief of Staff RESIGNS… Federal Investigation Begins

Since her shocking victory, bartender-turned-Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has done things “her” way.

Which included illegal dealings that took place during her congressional campaign alongside her chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti.

Now Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her right-hand-man are facing even MORE criminal and federal investigations after yet another complaint is filed against them.

Only this time, as reported by the Gateway Pundit, Saikat Chakrabarti resigned suddenly just after the complaint was released.

According to the report, The Coolidge Reagan Foundation filed another complaint against Ocasio-Cortez and her then-campaign manager Chakrabarti. The complaint reportedly took up 50 pages and held more than 20 counts against the duo and their “dark money” scheme.

The complaint also provided an in-depth look at the multiple campaign finance violations from Ocasio-Cortez.

But after the complaint was filed, a sudden resignation from Chakrabarti sparked even more questions…

The Washington Examiner reported that Federal agencies were investigating campaign finance misconduct by Chakrabarti.

Here’s a look at the statement from the Washington Examiner:

The probe focuses on two political action committees started by Saikat Chakrabarti, concerns about which were first reported by the Washington Examiner in March. Chakrabarti left his post as chief of staff for Ocasio-Cortez along with communications director Corbin Trent, who is departing for the freshman congresswoman’s 2020 reelection campaign.

Chakrabarti stirred up plenty of controversy during his tenure as the creative mind behind Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign and strategist for the Green New Deal. He has sent out numerous tweets that started a clash between Ocasio-Cortez and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and many staffers and aides on Capitol Hill were not thrilled about his divisive behavior.
