Accused CRIMINAL Running for President?!

The contest to secure the Democratic nomination and run against President Donald Trump in the 2020 election is starting to look like a circus.

New clowns are showing up every day.

There’s former Vice President Joe Biden, who’s already run and lost TWICE and would turn 78 before he’s sworn in.

There’s occasional Native American and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren… and even talk about bringing back Hillary Clinton (another two-time loser).

But this may be the craziest idea the Democrats have had yet.

Disgraced former Attorney General Eric Holder is reportedly considering throwing his hat into the ring.

And Holder wasn’t just an incompetent Attorney General. He’s an accused criminal, and if anyone other than Barack Obama had been president, Holder may have been sent to prison years ago.

At a breakfast yesterday hosted by the Christian Scientist Monitor, Holder refused to rule out making a bid for president in 2020, CNBC reported.

"We'll see," Holder said, adding "I think I'll make a decision by the end of the year about whether there is another chapter in my government service.”

Another chapter? The previous chapters were filled with lies and even alleged crimes.

And instead of trying to occupy the Oval Office, Holder should be glad that he didn’t end up occupying the inside of a jail cell.

In 2012, Holder was accused of lying to Congress and withholding documents regarding his role in the infamous Fast and Furious gun operation.

Fast and Furious was run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and facilitated the sale of illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels. The guns were used in murders and even shootouts with the Mexican police and military.

On June 28, 2012, Holder became the first sitting U.S. Cabinet member to be held in both criminal and civil contempt of Congress.

Holder was referred to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for prosecution – but Obama and the DOJ were essentially able to block the prosecution from moving forward.

And, of course, this was just the tip of the iceberg for Holder. He was also accused of refusing to prosecute Internal Revenue Service officials who targeted conservative groups.

It’s somewhere between craziness and arrogance that Holder believes he could survive a Democratic primary… let alone a presidential election.

He’s literally the face of one of the worst political scandals in modern history.

But that doesn’t mean Holder won’t run.

Like we said, the circus is in town.
